A Tata group company has signed an agreement to set up advanced technical skill training centers (skilling centers) in 50 ITIs in the state. In this, an investment of Rs.1500 crore will be made for new courses and appointment of master trainers.

Tata Advanced Systems

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the tech consulting arm of the Tata Group, employs over 80,000 people in Hyderabad, making it one of the largest IT employers in the state. TCS has huge plans for Hyderabad and will continue to grow in the next few years.

Tata Advanced Systems Ltd has successfully completed several joint ventures with leading global defense and aerospace companies such as Boeing, Sikorsky, GE and Lockheed Martin. Committed to further expansion in this important sector.

Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) has also partnered with the state government to upgrade and convert government ITIs into advanced technology centers to offer long and short-term courses in Industry 4.0 trades and bridge the skill gap.

Advanced Skill Centers in Govt ITIs

Setting up Advanced Skill Centers in 50 Government ITIs. To recruit Master Trainers for handholding new courses, TTL will spend around Rs. 1,500 crore is planned to be invested. Tata Group is expanding its Air India fleet. It plans to increase domestic and international connections from Hyderabad and make Hyderabad an important transit hub.
