Knight Frank India, in its latest forecast, recorded a total of 152,323 property registrations in Pune for the period January to December 2023. It said this represents a 9.6 percent increase over the previous peak year.

The total stamp duty collection for the year 2023 is ₹ 5,352 crore, showing a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 10.5 percent. In December 2023, 14,725 property sales contributed ₹ 560 crore to the state government’s revenue. Registrations increased by 10 percent year-on-year, while stamp duty revenue increased by 12 percent year-on-year.’
