Economic Growth Centre | Telangana State Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed the authorities to convert the entire area of Musi Riverfront into a center for economic development and job creation. This move is likely to create many opportunities for the citizens of Hyderabad.

CM Revanth held a review meeting on Musi Riverfront Development Corporation at Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday. Deputy Chief Minister M Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister for Industries, IT and Legislative Affairs D. Shridhar Babu, Minister of Medical, Health and Family Welfare Damodara Raja Narasimha, Akbaruddin Owaisi along with MLAs, MLCs, Chief Secretary to Government Smt. Shantikumari, MA&UD Department Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar, HMWSSB MD Dana Kishore, CMO Officers Seshadri, Shivdhar Reddy, Shanawaz Qasim, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose and other officials were present.

Chief Minister spoke about the Musi River

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister suggested that the entire area opposite the Musi River should be developed as an economic catalyst and a suitable place for tourists. CM Revanth directed the officials to prepare comprehensive plans for the construction of bridges, commercial shopping complexes, amusement parks, hawker zones, and roads along the Musi River with public and private partnerships.

Heavy pollution has occurred due to sewage entering the Musi River. To combat this problem, the chief minister asked the authorities to set up sewage treatment plants in the required areas.

which would not only reduce pollution but also prevent sewage from entering the river. In addition, it should be ensured that clean water flows in the river. The officials were directed to construct check dams to maintain the water level.
